Moving services may be performed under payment terms allowing for billing after delivery or under COD terms. If your moving services were performed under delayed billing terms then you will receive your property, have the opportunity to inspect your goods, and then pay for the services after you have been billed. However, if your moving services are to be performed under COD terms then full payment must be made prior to you having the opportunity to inspect your property. COD shipments are generally paid in full prior to the truck being unloaded.  Each moving company may have different policies for payment. It is important to have a clear understanding of the form and timeline for payment before selecting a moving company.
